Let me ask you a question, do you pray with your friends? Is it hard for you to pray out loud?
One of the most powerful ways to be a good friend is to pray for them and with them.
We can link arms together in the spiritual realm, and the strength we both receive is straight from heaven, regardless of location!
I always seek to be available to pray with a person. Goodness! Even strangers that I feel God is leading me to. I believe this is authentic friendship played out in real life.
Will you and I be brave enough to push past the surface stuff and get to the heart of what is happening?
Is this easy? No. The timing may feel inconvenient. Or maybe I just don’t feel very spiritual at that moment, but in faith, I know that God is the only answer.
He has brought friends into my life to pray for me, and miracles have happened! Our hearts are forever knit together in Him.
So today, I encourage you to text a friend and ask how I can pray for you? Next time you get to see a friend in person or on the phone, ask them can I pray for you now? See what God will do for your friendship and your faith!
“Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
