Let me ask you - “How’s your heart?”
How do you see yourself lately - through God’s love or your own shortcomings?
It’s often difficult for me to understand how God could love a mess like me.
Know what? He knows all of our stuff yet He still loves each of us deeply. He loves me in spite of me. He knows my heart. The same is true for you.
So I ask you, and I ask myself “How’s my heart?” To find the answer, we must ask the One who truly knows us and our innermost thoughts.
“Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” - Psalm 139:23-24
He knows it all - my intentions, my motives, and my thoughts. Are they pure? Am I living a life that can be blessed? Do I see God?!
I love the promise in Matthew 5:8 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.”
