One Breath at a Time

This morning I woke up with some old song lyrics on my mind: "Jesus is the answer For the world today Above Him, there’s no other Jesus is The Way"

I keep thinking about the hits we’ve taken (last week was a DOOZY for us!) and no matter what the obstacle, the question, the concern - it’s true, JESUS is the answer.

I cry out to Him over and over and over again, “Come, Lord Jesus. I need You!”

So many times when I feel hard hit, His name is the only thing I can even muster up the strength to utter. There is so much power just in His name alone. When I breathe “Jesus”, He hears and He immediately comes to the rescue.

I find every anxious thought rushing out of me as I release it all into Him.

He takes it from me. He transforms the pain into power. I can feel it.

I need Jesus. I literally rely on Him... for EVERYthing - even my next breath.

“One step at a time?” No! One breath at a time. One heartbeat at a time. One obstacle at a time.

We all need Him. None of us can do this on our own. We can rely on Him to help us through. No matter what the question, Jesus truly is the answer!
