What if He Would Not Have Believed?

Updated: Jun 26, 2022

Sitting #righthereinthischair this morning thinking of Romans 4:20-21. It says “No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised.”

Abraham believed by FAITH all that God had promised - for many generations to come. What an example! What if he would not have believed? Where would we be? Could it be that our future generations depend on our righteousness to stand firm in our faith, believing and receiving ALL of God’s promises - even unto death? Even in the midst of pain and suffering? Even when we have temporary setbacks or momentary troubles? We have MORE to set our sights on! We walk by FAITH!

Eternal glory. YESsss!!!!

"That is why his faith was 'counted to him as righteousness.' But the words 'it was counted to him' were not written for his sake alone, but for ours also. It will be counted to us who believe in Him who raised from the dead Jesus our Lord, who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification." Romans 4:22-25
