How many times do we think to ourselves - “God is not going to answer my prayer anyway.”
So we shy away from Him in prayer. Shy away from praying bold prayers, ones that come from the depths of our heart.
Transparency is something that God values. It could also be called humility. When we come to the end of ourselves and truly call upon Him with humility we can start to understand the heart of God.
"But (He) gives grace to the humble." Proverbs 3:34
Prayer isn’t about just getting our needs met but it is about our relationship with our Creator. He created you and He knows you inside and out.
So why would we hold anything back from Him?
One word: Fear.
We are afraid to really speak from the depths of our heart cause that means we may not get the answer we were hoping for.
Over my years of walking with Jesus, I have prayed BOLD prayers. Ones that scared me yet I have seen Him answer miraculously in more ways than I can count.
“You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” John 14:14
